There certainly was something about Mary, unique and loving in many ways. Mary was the twelfth of twelve kids from Wisconsin.
 
Mary was everything good about Wisconsin. A tough resolve, willing to work for what she thought was right.
 
She was a loving family member, an accomplished long distance runner and teammate to many, a loving wife, and a friend you could trust. She fought valiantly in the field of play and in life.
